Life With Jenny: It's been a minute, hi!

Hi Friends! My goodness it's been a hot minute since I sat down to type out my thoughts! Life just gets busy sometimes and there are not enough hours in the day to do all the things.
Let's see, so since I last wrote, the family and I have passed a cold virus through the house, I've been at my current job for 1 year (yay!), the neuropathy in my legs is still bothersome and I actually went to the doctor to discuss - we did blood work, turns out my magnesium is low so taking magnesium supplements and we increased the Gabapentin. Let's see, I went to Seattle to see my bestie for my nieces 4th birthday - Auntie Jenny got to be the photographer which was super fun!
My therapist and I are working on my self-esteem. It's hard, especially with the medical diagnoses I have and medications that cause weight gain and body dysmorphia and eating disorders. So yeah, that's fun.
I completed testing for ADHD - my appointment to discuss the results from testing is on May 9 so I will be sure to update then. The testing was crazy, oh my goodness! I had to take an over 300 questionnaire, I had to take another test that was listening to specific sounds with no visualization - that was hard to pay attention to! I had to draw some things from memory and all kinds of other things. Anyways, I definitely think I have ADHD but we will see what the results say.

I am stepping out of my comfort zone and working on creating a photography website - because I have a secret obsession for photos! I love pictures. I love taking them and capturing moments and memories. I was very generously gifted a digital camera which I took to Seattle with me and used for taking photos of the party. Our oldest, Ryann had her Junior Prom this past weekend and I got to do a mini photoshoot for her and her bestie which was so fun - we had props and everything! So, I am working on that with the hopes that it will turn into something great! I am so excited that the sun is finally shining here in Alaska and the snow is melting so I can get outside and take photos! Landscape photos are my favorite! I love capturing the beauty of God's creations - He does good work!

Well today I started my day wearing this super cute dress (pictured up top) and I just felt so good and my confidence was boosted - it was great! Then, theeennnnn walking back into the office from lunch today, I super gracefully rolled my ankle and fell and scraped my knee. I just want to say that you definitely fall harder at 36 than when you're 6! So my knee hurts and my ankle feels wonky but ya know, it's fine! I cleaned it, iced it, everything's fine - I blame the shoes. The dang cute shoes. They betrayed me.
Ouch.
Also, why is there no rubbing alcohol or peroxide at work in the first aid kit?! I'm going to get some for the office, because apparently I'm accident prone and need these things on hand!

Anyways, time to go change and take the dog for a walk and get some photos along the way and hopefully keep both feet on the ground this time while walking!
Lots of random information in this post but like I said, it's been a minute so, hi!
Have a wonderful day and remember to thank God for another day, the air in your lungs, and all His love, grace and mercy.
xoxo, Jen
